Which formats can I export?
A vertical 9:16 story, ideal for Instagram, or a 16:9 landscape film for a screen. The film is exported as an HD MP4, without watermark once paid, and shared straight from your phone.
How long is the film?
Lumette suggests a length based on how many memories you add, and you can change it, from 15 seconds to 5 minutes. Short works best for a story; for the family, take your time.
How many photos and videos can I add?
Up to 200 photos and videos per film, including those from family and friends. Each video is kept for 60 seconds at most: anything longer is cut.
Do I need a phone or a computer?
Both work, in a recent browser, with no app to install and no account to create. Your device builds the film when you export it: on an older phone this can take a few minutes, so keep the page open.
Can I use a well-known song or my own music?
The AI-composed tracks are made for your film: you can use them freely in your stories. For a well-known song, pick it from Instagram's music library when you post, which handles the rights. Your own file (MP3, voice memo) stays on your device and is meant for private, family use.
How do family and friends add their photos?
Share the invite link: each person can add up to 60 photos and videos, no account needed. You remove whatever you like and close invitations whenever you want. The film then moves to the shared price (€24.90).
What if I don't like the result?
You only pay after watching the whole film, with a watermark. Until then, comment, move, remove and run the AI again as much as you need. As the export is digital content supplied immediately, there is no right of withdrawal; but if the export does not work, write to us: we fix the problem or refund you.
How do I find my film again?
Through its private link. Give your email when you create the film to receive it; without an email, bookmark the page. Remember to export your film: files are erased 30 days after payment.
What happens to my photos?
They are used for your film only. Shrunk and stripped of location, they are erased 30 days after payment, or 30 days after creation if the film is not paid for. The AI sees thumbnails to suggest the edit, without face recognition, and this data is not used to train models.
Can I use photos of my children?
Yes, they are often the heart of these films. Your film's link is private. Before posting, think about who will see the story, and make sure the people in it agree; for children, their parents decide.
